Dietetic Technician

Unit Description
Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Full Time Dietetic Technician for Wayne County Nursing Home. This 192-bed long term care/sub-acute rehab facility is in the Finger Lakes, between Rochester & Syracuse.
Assisting the Dietitian on staff and reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, this Dietetic Technician will:
Work with the Registered Dietitians in managing the nutrition care process for the rehab and long-term care residents.
Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors to make every day a better day for our clients and residents.
Have a passion for driving and improving the resident experience for the Seniors we serve.

Position Summary
Responsible for handling the day-to-day basic nutrition care
Key Duties- Supports basic nutrition services of population served to ensure nutrition needs and customer satisfaction levels are met. Supports client relationships and satisfaction and client contractual obligations to ensure account retention. - Promotes and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy. - Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and apprises manager of potential problems. - Helps ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) and follows operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments.
Qualifications & Requirements

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
